Doctors Safety Line

Early in 1997, a group of South Australian doctors recognised the growing significance of the ageing population of Australia.

They foresaw the importance of the need for high quality services for this expanding market, including the introduction and embracing of emerging modern technology, as an integral component of those services.

Later that year, evolving from their vision, was the commencement of Doctors Safety Line.

Over ten years on, the Doctors Safety Line company is firmly established and recognised as an important industry leader,
in the provision of safety systems and services for the protection of Australia’s older and vulnerable citizens.


In support of Federal and State Government “Ageing in Place” initiatives, Doctors Safety Line has thousands of clients Australia-wide, who have chosen to remain living in their own home.

Additionally, many clients, in increasing numbers, enjoy the “Genuinely Failsafe” security systems Doctors Safety Line is providing to residents of grouped living environments, such as Retirement Villages.

For service quality, along with operating and cost efficiencies, both new project developers and managers of existing sites, are enthusiastic in their endorsement of Doctors Safety Line’s Retirement Village security programs.

Monitoring Centre

The required service – Ambulance, Police or Fire – or a personally nominated responder,
is immediately called.

If personal responders are nominated as first priority, but are not quickly located,
an ambulance is automatically called to assist.

Our Monitoring Centre operator will stay on the line with the caller, until help arrives.

Tunstall Response Monitoring Centre

The internationally renowned Tunstall organisation provides continuous 24 hour monitoring services for Doctors Safety Line clients, Australia wide.

Dependable, caring, compassionate attributes, together with the required appreciation of urgency for an emergency call, are key reasons for the outstanding quality of the Tunstall Response service.

Doctors Safety Line clients live in private residences, grouped living complexes, and retirement villages.
