2010 New Product Launch - GEOWATCH
Doctors Safety Line launch the GEOWATCH Tracker (GPS/GPRS/GSM)
An innovative miniature size personal tracking device, the GEOWATCH, which can be monitored locally to a mobile phone, is a means for locating people, such as dementia patients with wandering conditions, lone workers, children, or for maintaining safety contact with family, company staff, etc.
A small, powerful data and voice personal tracking device, the GEOWATCH can be programmed to link with an individual mobile phone, for single, or multiple connections. When the GEOWATCH carrier moves beyond a pre-programmed area – known as the GeoFence – the GEOWATCH immediately transmits a signal to the linked mobile phone. The mobile phone can then be activated to show, with a Google Earthmap, the exact location of the GEOWATCH carrier. Should the GEOWATCH carrier continue to move, that movement can be progressively tracked.
Additionally, the GEOWATCH carrier can transmit, by a button press of the device, a signal back to the linked mobile phone seeking help.
